How to Set Up an Instagram Creator Account

If you are an influencer or content creator and your social media goal is to grow on Instagram, you need to switch over to a Creator account like yesterday.

Creator accounts provide specialized insights that are specific to creators and influencers. In the old days, influencers needed a business account to access crucial insights, but with the advent of the Creator account, influencers can access more relevant insights. These insights can make or break a brand deal, so if you want to grow on Instagram, you should definitely have a Creator account.

Creator accounts also provide you with new monetization options. Head over to your settings.

It’s in the menu icon (three horizontal lines) at the top right of your profile!

Go to your account menu

Select “Switch to Professional Account”

Select Creator account

Select a category of creator account

Explore your new insights!
